Whisky Scent from an essential oil?

by Nicola
(Aberdeenshire)

Hello, Can anyone help? I make candles and I have been asked if I could make Whisky scented candles. I have been trying for a while using liquid lecithin and olivem 1000. Can you suggest other ingredients that I should use? Many thanks Nicola

ANSWER:
Hi Nicola thanks for your question. I have never been asked to make a whiskey scent before, but you might like to try a combination of the following essential oils:

  • Vanilla essential oil

  • Orange essential oil

  • Cardamon essential oil

  • Cinnamon essential oil

  • Clove essential oil

  • Nutmeg essential oil

...And if it doesn't work, I am sure these candles will smell divine anyway :)

Of course, I only use and recommend Young Living Essential Oils. Please visit my store for more information.

Enjoy blissful candles!
