How to Apply Essential Oils to the Chakras I always use therapeutic grade essential oils. I use two drops of each oil on the corresponding chakra location. Rub into the skin in a counter-clockwise direction while visualising the corresponding colour. An alternative method is to place the essential oil that corresponds to the chakra in a cup of warm water, then soak a small cloth in the solution. Squeeze out the excess water and place as a warm compress over the chakra. Cover and rest until cool.
